Building Development


Teachers' Quarters at Bukit Padang, Kota Kinabalu

is located at CL 015366364, Bukit Padang, Kota Kinabalu Sabah. It had been awarded to the Main Contractor, Encorp Construct S/B. by client, Ministry of Education Malaysia under the scheme of privatization of the development 10,000 units of Government Quarters for Teachers. Pembinaan Kekal Mewah Sdn Bhd has been appointed through the tendering process by Encorp Construction Sdn Bhd to construct and complete 300 units of teachers' quarters.



The project kicked off on 20th April 2000 with the physical work and formally handed over to the Ministry of Education on 31st July 2003.



The development consisted of 11 blocks of 5 storey 20 units and 5 blocks of 4 storey 16 units with kitchen, dining area, living room, 2 bedrooms, 1 master bedroom and the balcony area for each unit. The other developments were 1-Surau, 2-Rubbish Bin, 1-SESB Substation, 1-Retention Pond with 50m x 20m, 1-Pump Room, 1-Sewerage Treatment Plant & Electrical Room and landscape with Children Playground equipment were also included in the contract.


SMK Agama Tun Said, Kota Belud

is strategically located at approximately 5.3km from Kota Belud town. The school consist of 11 buildings, that is: 2 units of 4 storey height school block, 1 unit of 4 storey height laboratory, 1 unit of 2 storey height laboratory, 1 unit of single storey laboratory, 2 units of 3 storey height hostel, 1 unit of dining hall, 1 unit of canteen, 1 unit of mini mosque and 1 unit of workshop. All the buildings are linked with covered walkway for the convenience of the students. The final project cost is approximately RM 17 million and was completed in year 2000.


Mosque of University Malaysia Sabah (UMS)

is the landmark for the University because of its unique design. It attracts the public view since the main entrance of the mosque is facing the Sulaman Highway. PKM had the opportunity to participate in the implementation of superstructure’s work with the contract value of approximately RM 6 million. The mosque was finally completed in early 2003.


Taman Desaria, Tamparuli

is located about 36km away from the northeast of Kota Kinabalu City Centre and approximately 0.7km away from the Tamparuli town centre. This housing area consists of 20 units of double – storey semi –detached houses (1700 sq. ft) with 1st floor 3 rooms, 1 study, 2 bathrooms. Ground floor living, dining, kitchen & 1 bathroom and 34 units of double-storey terraced houses (1200 sq. ft) with 1st floor 3 rooms & 2 bathroom. Ground floor living, dining, kitchen & 1 bathroom.
